This bird feeder that is attatched to my window, looks nice, and stays on very nicely, but the birds don’t seem attracted to it. I put in seeds that many birds like, and especially the ones that are around my house (chickadees and goldfinches). However, none have even touched it after a month since I received it. It just may be too close to the house or to the people in it that makes them reluctant to use it. A good feeder, but the birds don’t use it…
Feeders for Wild Birds?
For the Winter, my family places feeders around the backyard. We get a variety of birds like blue jays and cardinals. We wild bird feeders also realized that we are getting some morning doves, but the feeders we have are too small, a small house shaped feeder and three stocking feeders, is there a certain type of feeder that i need, is there anyway i could make a simple feeder for the "big birds". Any advice would be nice.

I had purchased the same type of bracket for my deck at Lowe’s. THen they stopped carrying it and I needed two more. I use them to hang Boston Ferns from my deck. This does the trick, it’s identical to the ones I had purchased at Lowe’s. I’ve had the Lowe’s ones for 4 years and no rust. These do the trick
Easy to install. Also easy to remove bird feeder for refilling. Attracts lots of birds. Very pleasd with this item. Planning to buy another one!
We love this deck bird feeder Bracket. Why I did not see this years ago. No bird dropping on the deck as it hangs over the side. The birds love it, we love it.Great product.
Holds seed or suet feeders, plants, or whatever you want to hang from the deck or porch railing. The green finish is attractive and tough. For the hook end section, the 2 units I received have a slightly different configuration than the pictured bracket. Mine curl under, which I like better than the convoluted hook in the illustrated version.
UPDATE: the Amazon photograph of this deck bracket now looks like the ones I received. As of January 2010 mine are still going strong, look great, no rusting, very happy with them.
This is a great window feeder. It stays on and the birds love it. It’s big enough for my cardinals. The big pidgeons have a rough time getting on it, but they get what is dropped on the ground, so everybody is happy.
Very easy to see the birds. The birds sit on the top, the sides, and inside. The suction cups work very well and its easy to empty and fill. Very happy with this feeder!
