I bought one of these for my rabbit. He likes to knock it down and lay on it more than he likes to lay under it, so I really should have gotten a regular grass mat, but if your pet likes to crawl under things this would be great for them.

My rabbit seems to enjoy jumping on top of it and knocking it over more than she likes crawling inside, and since we have hardwood floors it doesn’t really stay up like in the pic anyways. She’s sniffed it a bit and took a chew, but hasn’t paid it much attention. It’s pretty expensive for two panels of woven grass. I think next time I’ll just go and buy a nice basket instead.

I heard a rumor from a friend on the transition team that the Obama administration is considering this rabbit mat as part of the stimulus package. Unfortunately, they can only afford one. The mat should help fatten up rabbits for people to eat in the coming depression, though!

I ordered this item as a christmas present for my cat. Cats and bunnies are similar right? Well he didn’t like it but it smelled good so I thought I’d try it. Low and behold it was the tastiest grass hut I have EVER had. Would eat again, A ++

I use these perches with all four of my birds…a Cockatiel, Quaker, Senegal, and Conure. It helps to have a different kind of surface for them to walk on during the day, and this perch was recommended by my vet for my Quaker, who has arthritis. The perch appears to be very comfortable for them. That said, the birds also like to chew on it (it is very colorful!). So, it is necessary for me to trim the perch on a regular basis so as not to create a foot hazard from lots of loose string hanging out all over the place! (I had not kept close enough of an eye at one point, and my Quaker got his foot stuck in excess loose string!)

I have two of these for my budgie. He loves them. It seems very comfortable for his feet and he loves climbing the incline I created with it from the bottom to the top of the cage. He especially loves sliding down it like a kid down a banister.

The rope/perch is easy to install, but it seems to be made so that birds can destroy it. Birds will have no problem making this into a ball of yarn, but my birds are scared of it.
