very cheaply made
i bought it for my cockatoo who is 3 years old and he was able to break this so called toy in 3 hours so money wasted
this is not a brainy bird toy , if i have to name this i would say brainy money maker toy.
easy way to make money by making this type of toys that last only a few hours and now you have to look for another toy for your bird……………….
dont buy it!!
What is the best toys for a chinchilla?
He loves to chew up his wood sticks. Parrot Toys I was thinking parrot toys would be good.I have the ball( he loves it), but I need chew things to keep hime entertained while we sleep.

I’m not sure whether the plastic has a bad taste because my terrier mixes, who normally adore toys, refused to play with this toy after mouthing it a few times. I’ve tried all sorts of games to interest them, but they spit it out and walk away as soon as they pick it up.
My dog lost interest fast in this toy, BUT after I began to hide treats in it, he adores it when I take it out. He’ll work it for long periods of time. Just beware of the drool! YIKES! Try a towel.
Many of the reviews mentioned that it didn’t hold up well. My border collie has had this since she was about 10 weeks old and it is still in good shape and one of her favorite toys. If your dog loves balls but isn’t destructive, this is a good buy, but for serious chewers, I would avoid it based on the other reviews.

I have 6 budgies and they didn’t even hesitate with this toy. They went after it immediately and played with it all day long!

My parrot just loves these. Only problem is he goes through them too fast! Keeps him busy for about 3 days and it is time for another one!
My small Amazon can destroy this in an hour if she feels like it, or it can last for weeks, depending on her mood. We used to let her chew up seed sticks. I switched from seed sticks to this toy because the mess is so much less messy than seeds and it’s just as much fun. Shredded yucca fibers beat chunks of sticky coated seeds any day. She never gets tired of this toy, she always runs over to get it whenever I put a fresh one in her cage. This is something we always have to have available for her. It keeps her happy and satisfies her chewing/shredding/nesting urges.
My birds have never gone for a toy the way they went for the kabobs. I ended up buying several! As others have mentioned, they can rip through one in pretty short order but it’s worth it for their excitement in doing so. I leave it in until they’ve completely chewed off the wood as well to get maximum life out of it. Very much recommend it, especially as a treat for your bird on a day when they might have to spend a lot of time alone.
There is no way that this item is suitable for large birds. I have a macaw, and he destroyed it within 30 minutes. Small and medium sized birds will probably enjoy it, but any bird with a strong beak can destroy it in a few minutes. It is not assembled in a very strong manner, and is easily torn apart.
I have a umbrella cockatoo and he loves this toy he will climb on it and hang up side down and swing back and forth he loves playing with this toy it intertains him for hours!
I bought this for my african grey, and he loves it~ he’s playing with it right now actually! lol I thing he probably thinks it’s is enemy and he want to cut it down XD this is the second day, and unlike the other reviews, mine didn’t break Yet, but I think it will take it a month to destroy it lol
Quick delivery and easy company to deal with. The birds loved them. Just be aware that they do what they were meant to do. Give the birds something to chew up. Boy did they. Gone in just a day or so.
Great toy. She destroyed it in two days (as a Too will), but we replaced the rope with wire and she’s kept messing with it ever since!
I’ve seen toys this size sell for twice the price… My bird, and umbrella cockatoo, however has ZERO interest in it…I don’t blame the toy though, would be great for a toy oriented bird.
This is a nice looking toy; thought the price was good until the shipping brought the price up to comparable pet store prices. Frankly, my two sun conures do not seem interested in it other than to climb on it to travel to other parts of the cage. Maybe they just aren’t as brainy as me… maybe I should play with it!
We rescue parrots as a hobby and need new toys for them on a regular basis. We ordered this toy for our Cockatoo, Fluffy. The toy arrived in perfect condition and is just the right size and exactly as pictured. This bird will have many weeks of fun with this hanging toy. We were glad to find a quality item like this toy since it is difficult to find good parrot toys in retail stores these days.
My only disappointment is that this item was NOT offered for PRIME shipping. We paid a lot for the shipping on this item which added 20% to the price and it wasn’t shipped as quickly as Amazon items usually are.
