I bought these just to fill out an order to make it $25 for free shipping, but my cats love them! Even better, since I didn’t need all twelve, I gave the rest to two different cat owners, who reported back their cats are obsessed with these mouse toys, and they don’t want to play with anything else.

I highly recommend this product for your cat.

My cats like these mice almost as much as real-fur mice. They are more durable.

Kornfeld June 11, 2010 at 12:48 pm

My cats like these, and they don’t seem to have destroyed them, either. It keeps the cats from destroying too much else in my house.

The only cons are that they fit under furniture better than some toys, and so get lost easier, and they’re pretty hard and hurt my feet if I step on them with bare feet in the dark of night.

Gesselman June 12, 2010 at 12:42 am

The success of these toys depends on the cat. I had one cat who went crazy for them, have one cat who likes to play with them just as much as any toy, and have another who couldn’t care less about them. This is a good deal for 12 mice though, and there are different textures so you can figure out which your cat likes best. My cat liked all of them and would destroy them, so it was nice to have backups.

Nice quality cat toys, these do not molt or shed, so there is little mess after a long play session. Attractive little toys last fairly long under hard playing, then when they are worn toss them out: they do not cost much.
Toys are a lovely way to play with your pet,but no toy is meant to solve dangerous behavior like biting, fighting, and other environemtal/behavior problems ! I like the use of these mice along with DA Bird, and pet lazer pointer, and others for an intersing play session.
Items bonus: Finding a “lost mousie” from under the furniture is good fun too, so we let several stay out at once for extra fun.

My cat is a Bengal, and he needs plenty of mental stimulation, otherwise he’ll act out in a negative fashion by attacking my other cats amongst other things.

These mice seem to be a temporary distraction that he enjoys. He likes to carry them around and play hunt with them.

The downside is he does get bored of them in a couple of days. That is when I put them away.

The good news is that when I take them out a few days later, the fun begins once again.

We have been buying these floppy discs for our Australian Shepard since he was 6 months old. He is now 8 years old and going strong. Our only complaints are the price. Very expensive for a toy that doesn’t hold up to normal dog use. I buy them by the half-dozen and have to replace them every year since he gets daily Floppy Disc time. Soft Bite Floppy Disc Dog Toy

I thought I was buying the larger floppy disc. I should have read more carefully. But after playing with the little ones, my lab, Cleo and I were impressed with the little ones! It takes a flick of the wrist, do not put your full arm into it the way I would a large one. The little ones don’t travel quite as far but they’re perfect for catch in air training.

This is my Shelties’ favorite toy. As it’s flexible, I often have both of my Shelties grabbing it and running together to see who will let go first. They love all sizes.

I have a very large active German Shephard. He has had several of these floppy disc over the last 5 years. We play with them several times a day and they will last about 6-8 months. A few years back I bought one and it fell apart within 3 weeks. I emailed Booda and they shipped me a replacement plus a free one. So I will always use this company for dog toys. Plus my dog refuses to play with anything else but his Booda frisbee’s.
I have started buying these from Amazon instead of Petsmart or Petco because both stores have increased their price on these by about double. I can’t find them anywhere cheaper than Amazon.

We’ve tried so many different frisbees for our very small Boston Terrier and this is really the only one we like.
It was our first one, but it was lost in the ocean, so we’ve looked for another and had no luck. The other brands are too hard, or heavy, or shaped weirdly to also be a water bowl. Some were stuffed, or rubber, and all were inferior. We’ve even had her mouth bleed with other ones.
Finally, I started searching for one like our first one, even though I couldn’t remember the name. When I saw this picture, I knew I’d found our frisbee!
As I was taking it out of the box, our little dog got really excited and we had to play right away. It is as perfect as I remember and I am going to buy a few more, for back up!
This particular seller gave a good price and mailed it in a timely manner, so I’ll buy from them again.

I have ordered the natural mice several times. The last order placed recently was switched out for the fur mice. These have carpet like outsides and the tail is of the same material. My cat won’t even consider them.
When I have tried to choose the ‘return’ option, I cannot connect no matter what time of day I have tried. After 10 different attempts I give up. I am stuck with 12 mice. It is not just the cost of the item I am out, I am irritated that the product has been changed, but the description of the product has not been updated. What has happened to the ability to return a product that was not ordered?

Lowenthal June 16, 2010 at 11:53 am

So I essentially paid $1/mouse when the quality of the product I received could barely justify $1 total. Not real fur, mediocre craftsmanship. “Look and feel like real mice” I disagree.

Fontana June 17, 2010 at 12:32 am

That is, they are covered with real rabbit fur, and my finicky feline will not settle for faux fur on her faux mice. She loves these mice and actually eats a lot of the natural fur, but it is apparently safe because she has been doing this for 10 years with no ill effects.
It isn’t always easy to get a 10 year old cat to play, but these mice sure get her excited and bouncing around like a kitten.
I highly recommend these!!

I’m a 5 year old female Australian Shepherd. I just love this frisbee! My humans first got me a Kong Flyer, which was OK, but it is a bit too heavy. Being heavy, they had difficulty throwing it and I was a bit hesitant to catch it.

They then bought me this Booda Soft Bite Floppy Disc. I love it! It is so soft! I can grab it while leaping through the air without thinking about it. Plus I can do a head-shake-death-grip-kill on it when it’s been bad (i.e., I missed catching it). Being light, my humans can really throw it.

Every time I go outside I grab the Soft Bite Floppy Disc and ask my humans to throw it. Over and over and over. I want to play so much with it that my humans have to hide it from me! After over 6 months of this it is a bit worn (all of the printing is gone) and has a small hole or two (oops! in my excitement, I guess I bit down a bit too hard). No matter, it is still going strong.

Comments from the “human”:
- My dog is ADDICTED to this frisbee! She can’t get enough of it! It has done quite well for 6+ months of continuous daily use. I’m buying another one to have in reserve when this one finally dies.

- As noted by others, make sure that you take it away from your dog after playing. It can easily be destroyed if the dog has ample time to chew it to death.

Lowenthal June 18, 2010 at 12:34 am

They’re the best, says our small, agile mutt. She prefers the 7 inch disc size (she’s about 25 pounds), which she fetches and catches relentlessly. Hard plastic discs can hurt when you’re catching in mid-air, but this one flies well and doesn’t ever hurt. The disc is pretty durable, but will wear out eventually when treated too roughly – like tug-of-war with big dogs.

Flanders June 18, 2010 at 12:38 pm

kinda expensive for what you get but it does work well
hasn’t been eaten so far though we must be careful as it wouldn’t last long if my rot decided it was a chew or tug toy.
it flies well and the dog can pick it up a couple of different ways.
what price fun?

Myricks June 19, 2010 at 12:42 am

I spend at least an hour throwing this frisbee around outside with my dog every day. His first one lasted over a year until he managed to put a hole in it. But it still works and he’d rather play with the old one than the new one! I did not order this frisbee here through Amazon, but bought it locally. I found a double pack for a great price. I’ve been very satisfied with this toy and had to write a review. So if your dog enjoys frisbee, then I’d highly recommend this product!
